FIVE / Terms
Terms of use
The short rules for using FIVE. You agree to them with a tick before you first play or watch online.
What FIVE is
FIVE is a free hobby game run by Lesley Voogel in the Netherlands, offered as it is. It can change or go offline for a while. Your stats stay on your device, unless you transfer them to another device yourself.
Age
FIVE is for all ages. If you are under 16, check with a parent or guardian that it’s OK for you to play online with others.
Your data
How FIVE uses your data, and your rights, are on the Privacy page.
Names and behaviour
- No offensive, hateful or sexual names.
- Don’t pretend to be a bot, the host, FIVE or a real person.
- Don’t use reactions to harass people.
Fair play
- No cheating, scripts or bots of your own.
- Don’t try to guess other people’s PINs or room codes, or attack the server.
- Found a bug? Report it instead of using it.
Moderation
Players can vote to kick someone. We can't see who a player is or remove them ourselves, but we can block a name that breaks these rules by adding it to the list of blocked words in an update. Names are also checked automatically against that list; if your name is blocked by mistake, email [email protected]. Where we can, we tell you why, and you can email [email protected] if you disagree.
Reporting
Use Report a player in the game menu, or email [email protected]. Say what happened, in which room or under which name, and why it’s wrong. This address is also our contact point for players and authorities (English or Dutch).
Who owns what
The FIVE logo, card designs, written rules and code belong to the maker of FIVE. Don’t copy them without asking. The open-source parts we use are listed on the Licences page.
No guarantees
FIVE is free and comes without any warranty. We are only liable as far as Dutch law requires, and never less than that for intent or gross negligence.
Law and changes
Dutch law applies; if you live elsewhere in the EU you keep the protection of your own country’s law.
We can change these terms, for example for new features or for legal or safety reasons. The Last updated date shows the latest version, and What’s new in Settings says when they change. When a change matters, FIVE asks you to agree again before your next online game. If you don’t agree, stop playing; you can delete your data in Settings › Privacy. Last updated 6 November 2026.
